Generation Y short story collection

Clouds of Magellan is looking for short stories from Generation Y. Not your coming of age rubbish, or awkward first romance - we want new fiction, something defining to look back on when we're old and boring.

Are you Generation Y? We're looking for the best fiction from authors born between 1982-1995 (Wikipedia has spoken). Forget genre, morality, rules. There are no rules. Just remember we're looking for short stories and not your bad first novel (though we'll probably read that too).

The best will be published in a collection by Clouds of Magellan. We did a similar thing last year with Stamping Ground, a collection of stories written about the northern suburbs of Melbourne.

So come on. You want some published love? We'll hook you up.

2. authors published will receive 5 free copies (yes, a printed book -
we'll have it also available as an e-book and Amazon PoD)

3. we don't get paid for this, but if we cover costs, any proceeds will
be donated to the Emerging Writers Festival

4. judging will be by bona fide Gen Y-ers

5. Closing date for submissions - 30 September 2010

Emerging Writers - GLBT novel competition

The winner of our competition is Brisbane-based playwright, Errol Bray for his first novel 'Berzoo'.
